Welcome to the 9th World Congress of the International Microsimulation Association
The Austrian Institute of Economic Research (WIFO) hosted the 9th World Congress of the International Microsimulation Association (IMA) at the University of Vienna from 8 to 10 January 2024. Over 170 participants from all over the world shared their knowledge and experience on the development and use of microsimulation models. In a dense three-day programme, a wide range of papers on microsimulation topics were presented and discussed.
The IMA promotes the free inter-change of experience and ideas between practitioners of microsimulation worldwide. It is of interest to creators and users of microsimulation models in international organizations, governments, academia, and the private sector.
